Excel to QR codes — one code per row, free
Have a spreadsheet of links, product pages, serial numbers or names? Upload the Excel file below and get a static QR code for every row: a ZIP of PNG and SVG files named by your label column, or a print-ready PDF (plain grid or Avery 5160 / 5163 / L7160 / L7163 label sheets). Nothing is uploaded, and the codes never expire.
Columns: url plus optional label. Sample CSV (opens in Excel)
Download a sample CSV · Print label sheets at 100% scale (no "fit to page").
2 codes ready (max 1000). Generated in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

How to turn an Excel list into QR codes
- Put one link (or piece of text) per row in a column named
url. Add alabelcolumn if you want names on the files or printed labels. - Save the sheet as .xlsx (or export CSV from Google Sheets).
- Upload it above, check the preview, then download the ZIP or the PDF.
- For labels, print the PDF at 100% scale and do a test print on plain paper first.
The formula alternative (and its catch)
In Excel 365 or Google Sheets you can preview a code next to each row with =IMAGE("https://quickchart.io/qr?text="&ENCODEURL(A2)) and drag it down. It is handy for a quick look, but every image depends on an outside service each time the sheet opens, and laying hundreds of them out for printing is fiddly. Generating actual image files or a label PDF from the list avoids both problems.
Questions
Excel has no built-in QR function. In Excel 365 or Google Sheets you can show one with =IMAGE("https://quickchart.io/qr?text="&ENCODEURL(A2)), but each image is fetched from an outside service every time the sheet opens and is awkward to print in bulk. Exporting files from the list is usually easier for printing.
A column named url (link or text also work) and, optionally, a label column. The label becomes the file name and is printed next to or under each code in the PDF.
Up to 1,000 rows per batch. Split bigger lists into several files.
No. The .xlsx file is read in your browser and the codes are generated on your computer.
